Happy Easter

The Lord has risen!  Alleluia!

Corbar Cross, Derbyshire, England

I hope you have a wonderful holiday celebrating the wonderful promise that we were freely given.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  --John 3:16

Our Addiction

Confession: Husband and I have a serious addiction.

A couple of weeks ago...we splurged a little and bought one of these

And now we are officially addicted to this game.  ADDICTED!

It brings out the worst in me.  I'm not one to use curse words, however this game get me swearing like a sailor.  But it's fun...now if only I could control my mouth!

...also known as one-quarter complete or 25%.  I have 25% through the Bible.  And I'm still rather pleased with myself!

As of the end of March I have completed:
* Genesis
* Exodus
* Leviticus
* Proverbs
* Ecclesiastes
* Matthew
* Luke
* Hebrews

Still doing the same thing as last month.

Weekend Recap 3/26-27

So this post is a little late, but better late than never, right?

This was the weekend my mommy came to visit me.  She flew in Thursday night and took me shopping at Fashion Square.  Not many things beat a shopping trip with my mom!  We also had a delicious meal at an Indian Restaurant.

Friday night Husband was flew home and we all went out to dinner.  This time we had Greek food.

Saturday we woke up bright and early to go to the Renaissance Festival.

Sunday Husband dropped both my mom and I at the airport.  She headed home and I boarded a plane for LAX for my mystery destination (which I promise I'll disclose soon!)
